Here's a lovely survivor. A snakes-and-ladders style board game based around Air Raid Precautions - "A.R.P." The board covers all the various services likely to be involved in an air raid from wardens, ambulances, decontaminations and rescue, etc. The bomber on the cover appears to have been copied from the Fairey Hendon.
Many thanks to Steve Crookes for the image.

Currently up for auction on saleroom.com are these figures of an ARP Gas Detection Squad. Produced in the late 1930s it is one of a series of ARP studies sold by William Britain. The box is a replica.
Even though the threat of enemy bombing was ever present, there was always those that thought about how it could be turned for a profit. This is a card game devised using many of the features found during the blackout.
This game is a variation of "Shut The Box". A number of board games were manufactured and given wartime updates.
