A lovely original mint condition pair of Joseph Lucas Ltd No. 68 A.R.P. Bicycle Lamps. Hooded at the front to reduce light exposure. Almost impossible to get batteries to fit these particular model but modern 3D printed inserts can be bought on eBay. These slide into the body and take AA batteries. More lamps and torches

I am almost 93 years old and I well remember this type of front cycle lamp used in WW2. A bike was an essential means of transport in those days.
Do you own the Copyright to these photos, and if so would you permit me to use a cropped photo of a single lamp to illustrate a section of a non-commercial book I am writing on my 'Childhood --Teenage Years Memories of World War Two.'
